Pumpkin Carving.

Carving pumpkins at Nana and Grandpas house this year. Things we learned and/or have been reminded of… 1) Olivia likes pumpkin guts. She likes them so much she will eat them raw.  2) Addalie would like nothing to do with carving a pumpkin. She would rather run around the backyard and skin up her knees as much as possible.

  3) Aiden is so very independent, and had very little help carving his entire pumpkin. I think it turned out pretty awesome.

4) Pumpkin guts burn and make my hands itch so bad. By the end of the night my throat was driving my nuts. “banana feeling” AKA my weird fruit allergies.  Thanks for help with carving guys.

Last but not least ... 5) It is entirely impossible these days to get a great family photo without anyone moving/screaming/crying/nose picking/any other weird thing my kids seem to be obsessed with doing at the time.

we ended that night with sleepy babies rubbing their eyes,  some funky pumpkins, and cleaned seeds to be toasted the next morning.
